Add a second or third photo for layered dishes and tricky portions.
Take a photo, scan a barcode, or say what you ate. EveryCal works out the calories and nutrients, and you confirm every item before it’s logged.1
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play
Point your camera at a meal. EveryCal names each food, estimates the portion, and matches it to measured nutrition data.
AI that shows its work
Each food gets its own portion, calories, and a confidence level. If something looks off, tell the AI what to fix in plain words, then review the change before it applies.

EveryCal is a calorie and nutrition tracker. Log a meal from a photo, barcode, nutrition label, voice note, or search, and get calories plus 15 nutrients you can review before anything is saved. It also builds a daily calorie and macro plan around your goal.
They’re estimates, and EveryCal treats them that way. The AI identifies foods and portions, while calories and nutrients come from matched food records. Each item shows how confident the estimate is, the AI asks up to two quick questions when something is unclear, and you can edit anything or ask the AI to fix it before you log.
22,399 foods come from government databases: USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy, FNDDS, and Foundation), the UK’s CoFID, France’s ANSES Ciqual, the Swiss Food Composition Database, and Taiwan FDA. Barcode lookups use 931,866 products from Open Food Facts.
With the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, adjusted for your activity level and chosen pace. Safety limits cap weight loss at 1% of your body weight a week, keep calories above a minimum, and limit the daily deficit. You can try it in the calorie calculator.
EveryCal doesn’t create automatic targets for anyone under 18 or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Instead, you enter targets from your clinician. Weight-loss goals aren’t available near or below a BMI of 18.5. EveryCal is for people 13 and older and isn’t medical advice.
Water, weight, exercise, manual meals, and custom foods save offline and sync when you’re back online. Photo analysis, food search, and barcode lookups need a connection.
